Dr Benjamin Sevitt BDS (UK)

Founder & Dentist

Benjamin graduated from the prestigious Guy’s Hospital, London, UK in 1997. He worked as an Associate Dental Surgeon in the United Kingdom before making Aliya to Ra’anana in 2001.

Benjamin regularly attends postgraduate study courses, and regards continuing education as a priority in order to maintain knowledge and skills and to keep on top of the ever developing field of dental science and technology. As such, he has received advanced training in a number of dental fields including Implant Prosthetics and Porcelain Veneers. Benjamin has also received certification from NYU and The World Aesthetic Congress for Implantology and Cosmetic Dentistry.

As a 2nd generation dentist, Benjamin watched his father run his own successful Dental Practice in London for 40 years. As well as emulating his father’s excellent standards he aims to create the lifelong relationships with his patients as he saw his father do over the years.

“My greatest pleasure as a dentist is taking scared worried patients, and building a bond with them to make them confident and happy with their smile.

Benjamin is married to Britt and has 3 gorgeous children. When not at Pearl Dental, he enjoys running, cricket and crime fiction.



Dr Sara Whitefield BDS (UK)

Dentist

Dr. Sara Whitefield is a specialist in Oral Medicine, licensed as a Specialist with the Israeli Ministry of Health. Dr Whitefield qualified as a dentist in London, England in 2000 and after completing four years of Oral Medicine residency at the Goldschleger School of Dentistry, Sackler Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, Israel, qualified as a specialist in Oral Medicine.

What is Oral Medicine?

Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology is the specialty field of dentistry that deals with the assessment, diagnosis, and management of conditions affecting the oral mucosa, jaws and adjacent anatomical structures, as well as patients with oro-facial pain. Oral Medicine sits at the interface between Dentistry and Medicine.

The key difference between Oral Medicine and Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is that in Oral Medicine the emphasis is on dental conditions that are primarily managed without the need for intrusive surgery, similar to Internal Medicine which treats medical conditions that are primarily managed without the need for intrusive medical surgery.

The field of Oral Medicine also includes dental treatment for patients with serious and chronic diseases.

Who should consult with Dr Whitefield?

Dr Whitefield receives patients and patient referrals for patients seeking treatments for Oral Medicine conditions such as growths in the mouth, ulcers, dryness, burning mouth, taste changes, lichen planus, pemphigoid/pemphigus, jaw pain, neck pain and headaches.

Dr Whitefield, receives patients and patient referrals for patients with chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, post-stroke, diabetes and osteoporosis requiring dental treatment.

Dr. Eric A. Milch joined the team at Pearl Dental in January 2012. Dr. Milch provides outpatient Oral Surgery, which includes Implants, Bone Grafting, Wisdom Tooth Removal, Extractions and Minor Oral Pathology.

Eric, his wife and five children made Aliyah from Bettendorf, Iowa, USA in July 2010. Eric and his family live in Ra’anana.

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Eric attended The University of Pittsburgh. Eric graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree and majored in Psychology. Next, Eric attended The University Of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and earned his Dental Degree. Following completion of Dental School, Eric completed five years of residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The University of Pittsburgh.

Following his residency, Eric practiced for one year in Pittsburgh and then relocated to Davenport, Iowa where he practiced for 15 years in a private practice setting. In 2010 Eric was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at The University of Iowa.

Eric is a Fellow of The American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery having achieved Board Certification in 1998 and recertification in 2008.

In 2010 Eric became a licensed Dentist in Israel and has been active in private practice in Israel. Eric is a member of the Israel Dental Association and frequently attends continuing education courses throughout the year.



Dr. Brander has been practicing Orthodontics for twenty years and brings to Pearl Dental a wealth of experience and expertise to this specialist branch of dentistry. Orthodontic dentistry covers the growth and development of the teeth and jaws, and correction of any problems. These include irregular, crooked, crowded, spacious or prominent teeth.

If you need some advice about your child’s growing teeth, or want your teenager to have a fantastic smile, or even need a smile makeover yourself, Karina will spend time getting to know you or your child and planning treatment, whether you need fixed braces, removable braces, or whether invisible braces such as’ Clear aligners’ or ‘linguals’ are suitable.

Karina lives in Ra’anana with her husband and three children.



Harley graduated from the University of Toronto Dental School in 1993 after having completed Bachelour and Master of Science degrees in Biology. For the next 26 years he owned and operated his own Family and Cosmetic Dental Practice while also raising 5 children with his wife Susan.

Harley was a member of many Canadian dental associations and has logged many hours in continuing education seminars and training programs. He has always prided himself on carefully assessing the patients needs, recommending appropriate treatment options and then providing excellent care all in a warm and friendly environment.  It is the relationships that Harley has developed with his patients over the years that he cherishes the most.

Harley and Susan made aliyah in August of 2019 and are living in Ra’anana. Their 3 daughters had already made aliyah and they are hopeful that their 2 sons will join them. Harley spends as much of his free time as possible being a Saba to his 3 grandkids, watching Toronto Raptors highlights, doing crossword puzzles,  and exercising.



Dr. Allison Zaromb has been practicing periodontics for more than 10 years. Originally from New Jersey, USA, she was awarded an academic scholarship to attend New Jersey Dental School. Following graduation from dental school, she entered a three-year residency in Periodontics at New York University and completed her specialty degree in 2005. She then moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she practiced for 10 years prior to making aliyah in 2015.

Allison is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. A Diplomate is a periodontist who has made significant achievements beyond the mandatory educational requirements of the specialty. Her practice includes both surgical and non-surgical treatment of periodontal diseases and deformities, as well as implant surgery and related procedures. She attends continuing education courses regularly to stay informed of the latest developments in the field.

Allison lives with her husband and children in Yad Binyamin.
